Dear Bill,

Now that we are in and settled Amy and I wanted to write you to let you know how happy we are with our new home. Our whole family is ecstatic with the way everything turned out.

We had heard many horror stories about building a home. You not only proved this to be wrong but actually made it a pleasurable experience. There are “millions” of decisions to be made when building. The first and best choice we made was James Contracting.

Amy and I particularly appreciated your personal attention and involvement in the project. We did not simply want a general contractor who subbed everything out and moved onto the next house. This is not to say that the subs you brought to our house were not good also. They were very neat, professional, and mannerly.

It’s actually kind of sad now that the project is over. I know our youngest son Bryan misses seeing Mike and Mr. Bill on a daily basis. In fact our whole family became very friendly with everyone on the job, and this was an unexpected pleasure.

But most importantly we have a lovely and well built house that we can enjoy for many years thanks to James Contracting.

Three years ago I read an article advising people who were suffering from “Empty Nest Syndrome” (that condition that befalls parents when their children grow up and leave home) to remodel their houses to accommodate the changes in their life style.

After devoting 25 years of marriage to raising our 4 children (and everyone else’s children in the neighborhood) this sounded like a great idea to me. And since my husband spent those 25 years working 60 hours a week to support the gang, I dreamed of a haven for him that would provide he and I with both luxury and comfort after work each day.

James Contracting, Inc. made all our dreams come true. Without even having to move for even a single night, we have a totally new home, perfect for the two of us in every way; from the Jacuzzi and the sitting room, to our cozy Victorian sitting room that overlooks our second story deck and our beautiful bedroom suite that is connected to our sitting area by an archway and pillars. Like magic, you took all our rambling ideas and created a masterpiece, including every detail we mentioned, no matter how trivial. Your architectural designs and creative ideas really made all our dreams come true.

Not to mention all the extra work you oversaw including a new stairway and railings, new bathroom fixtures in our second bath, remodeling spare bedrooms and taking out walls downstairs. You truly created a totally new home while giving us the ability to stay in the home after all our children were raised. I get to keep all the great memories, I never had to pack and I have a brand new house to live in and I love it. And all in record breaking time. I just had to write you a letter to tell you how amazing you and your company really are!
